Accountancy Building From Botanic Garden I've always wanted to take a photo of the school from Botanic Garden, especially since the school is shifting to the city campus. Amidst the trees, that's where the school is located. The only building that can be spotted behind those tall trees is the accountancy block. It is the tallest building at the Bukit Timah campus. In fact, this campus has its own history even before it is used by SMU. There is a lot of such marks left by history in these old buildings. The names of some of these buildings such as Eu Tong Sen, Raffles etc were names left behind by its predecessors. There is also an old NUS nameplate still existing in the first storey of the accountancy building too. In addition, if you head down to the Raffles Building, near to the students' lounge, there is a tiled wall (designed by ex-NIE students). There are perhaps a lot more things that marked the history of these buildings. At the moment, no one knows exactly who will be buying over the land but this land is certainly worth the value. I hope I get to take more photos of the school before we shift to the new campus...
