Pond At Botanic Garden I always like the serenity of the pond at Botanic Garden. You might never know there is such a nice place in Singapore. However, most SMU students will recognise the pond or the familiar black swans near the pond. This is part of Botanic Garden, located at proximity to the Bukit Timah campus. Whenever I passed by this pond, I remembered the time when we were out scavenging for swan feathers (for a course called Leadership and Teambuilding, short for LTB), we had to search for the feather around the pond. In fact, that feather is as difficult to find as we imagined. The feathers of these black swans are easily found near the pond. There is lots of memories with this portion of the park, especially since this is the place where we organise a one-day children's outing as part of a LTB project. Of course, there is also the serenity that this place brings to people who have been there. The bridge, the shelter, the swans, the pond...all these make the campus seems to be surrounded by nature.
